Teeth Whitening Tips

The gel is placed halfway into the trays, whilst at the same time ensuring the gel does not get in contact with water which will reduce the gel’s effectiveness.
When that has been done you must then see to it that you wear these trays for as long as 1 hour. After doing so it is advised that you sluice your teeth and brush away any remaining gel. This gel method has proven effective for a number of people and it is the recommended choice of most dentists.
Another method is the peroxide teeth whitening method. The peroxide method is a home remedy whereby you make your own toothpaste using baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. You mix the two ingredients together until a paste is formed. Brush your teeth using this add-mixture and rinse out the froth making sure you do not swallow the paste.
Another known way of making use of hydrogen peroxide is by using it as a mouthwash just before you brush your teeth. Wash your mouth thoroughly with the peroxide and proceed to brush your teeth afterwards making sure you do not swallow the peroxide.
