Apparently someone came up with the great idea of tattooing eyebrows to get the appearance of balance and shape the client desires.  The thinking is that tattooing will darken the desired eyebrow shape and fool people into thinking you have better matching  eyebrow with more fullness than you really do.  This may work from a distance, like maybe a mile away, but it would be quite noticeable when viewed from even several feet away.  If you want to change your eyebrow shape then the only option is eyebrow implants.  This process is simple to perform and usually only takes an afternoon.

Many hair restoration clinics are now offering this procedure as a solution to mismatched brows, thin hair at the brow, and crooked eyebrows.  The hair restoration surgeon will start by meeting with the client and deciding what shape is desired.  Often times this is done with special computer software which allows different shapes to be imposed on a photo of the client.  This way everyone knows what the final outcome should look like and there are no surprises.  Once the final shape is agreed upon the plastic surgeon goes to work.

Using a method called follicular Unit Extraction, he or she will remove hairs (roots and all) from an area on the back of the head usually, and implant these hairs into the brow area.  A local anesthetic is all that is required to make the patient comfortable as there is no cutting or sewing of the skin like in the hair implants procedures of years past.  There will be a little discomfort for a few days and the site where the hair unit was removed will look like it was pricked with a pin but this goes away within a short time.

Once the hairs are implanted they will often times go dormant because of the shock but soon they have started to grow again and you can have the eyebrows you always wanted.

Don’t settle for some cheesy tattoo which will make you look like you have clown makeup on.  Instead, get the long lasting eyebrow shape you have always desired with eyebrow implants.
