Make Your Surrounding as Comfortable as Possible – This is another helpful approach in terms of overcoming your driving phobia. Always make sure that you have all the necessary items that you need like a spare tire, a fully charged cell phone, flashlights, small fire extinguisher and the like. Having all of these readily available will help put your mind at ease.
Pull Over – If in any case the anxiety you feel gets worst while you are on the road, look for a suitable place where you can pull over. Next, breathe evenly and slowly. It would also be best to have a bottled water in stow for you to drink.
